Antonio Stradivari 1721 VL

By the end of Stradivari’s so-called ‘Golden Period’, the Cremonese master was a successful maker, held in high esteem by his colleagues and numerous patrons. In the previous twenty years he developed his personal style and was now confident about his own abilities. The result of Stradivari’s positive attitude was indeed a golden era, his most prolific and flourishing phase, which is characterised by authentic masterpieces in the history of violin-making.
