Antonio Stradivari 1720 VL Bavarian, King Ludwig II of Bavaria
In the first half of the 19th century this instrument was part of the collection at the Royal House of Bavaria, along with two other Stradivari violins both named after King Maximilian, one from 1702 and the other from 1709.
