Antonio Stradivari 1702 ca. VL King Maximilian Joseph
This instrument belonged to the Royal House of Bavaria for more than a century and, like another Strad of 1709, is named after Maximilian I (also known as Maximilian Joseph) (1756–1825), Prince-elector of Bavaria from 1799 to 1805, and King of Bavaria from 1806 to 1825.
