Maurizio Tadioli
Vita
Born in Cremona on 16th September 1967, Maurizio Tadioli began learning the art of violin making as child from his grandfather, Carlo Pizzamiglio. He attended the “Scuola Internazionale di Liuteria” in Cremona and received his diploma in 1985 with the highest mark. As a result of his additional studies in piano and organ, Maurizio Tadioli accompanies many religious choirs and orchestras in Cremona and the vicinity.
In September 2004 Tadioli attended a masterclass in Parma on the reproduction of old instruments, led by M. Samuel Zygmuntowicz, one of the most respected and experienced violin makers in the field. In October 2004 he attended a masterclass on the set-up of string instruments by M. Christian Bajon, former assistant of J. Smith and Vatelot.
