Arjan Versteeg

Vita

Arjan was born in Holland in 1973. He studied at the Mittenwald Violin Making School. After the exam he worked two years as a restorator for Willem Bouman in The Hague.

Later he worked 9 years for Peter Benedek in Munich. In that time he concentrated on restoring fine old instruments and tree ring analysis - dendrochronology. In 2007 he passed the master exam at the Mittenwald Violin Making School. He is member of the German Violin Maker Association, VDG.

Since 2011 Veronika and Arjan work in their own workshop in Hohenschäftlarn near Munich. In their spare free time they play chamber music.
