Andrian Andreev

Vita

Andrian Andreev was born in 1965 in Kazanlak, Bulgaria. He dedicated himself to the fine arts from a young age, and in 1984 completed his studies at the School of Fine Arts in Tyravna, Bulgaria, which has a well-established woodcrafting tradition.

In 1997 he received his luthier's diploma from the "Antonio Stradivari" School of Violin Making in Cremona, where he studied under Wanna Zambelli (a pupil of Pietro Sgarabotto and Francesco Bissolotti).

On his return to Bulgaria in 1997, Andreev opened his atelier, "Cremonensfis Art Studio". Here he makes instruments based on the classic models of great Italian masters such as Antonio Stradivari, Andrea Amati and Guarneri, taking into consideration the techniques and varnishes that would have been used at the time.
