Claudio Ricca

Claudio Ricca has been a violinmaker since 1985. He studied the technique to build the most famous Italian violins, in Cremona, the best school in Italy. He specialized in classic guitar making with Maestro Walter Leoni. With his increasing experience he has been devoting himself to violins, violas and cellos making.
He cooperates with musicians either from Italy and abroad as well as collectors of string instruments' restoration and preservation. He also cooperates with Maestro Francesco Taranto for the restoration and revaluation of nineteenth century guitars' (Guadagnini, Vinaccia, Fabbricatore and more).
His scientific training, let him to design a mute for cellos with variable weight (patent given in 1990), a violin's case and a chinrest in a non-allergic material.
