Hermann Bächle

Hermann Bächle did his training at the „College for musical instruments-­making“ in Bubenreuth. In 1971 he passed his final examination with the diploma „Master craftsman“. His craftsmanship and his artistic talent have been awarded with numerous distinctions. In 1980 he gained the silver medal for cello at the German competition from the Georg-Hesse-Foundation. In 1989 he won the gold medal for cello at the International violin-maker-competition in Mittenwald. At the Rheinische Landesmuseum in Bonn a copy of the Hellier-Violin from Stradivarius made by him is exhibited.
