Vita

Michele Buccelle was born in Cremona in 1981. He studied at the International School of Violin Making in Cremona under Massimo Negroni and Wanna Zambelli, receiving his diploma in 2000.

Michele Buccelle has developed his personal style, inspired by the classic models of such masters as Stradivari, Guarneri and Amati. Michele Buccelle uses spruce wood from the "Val di Fiemme" in Northern Italy, which was also used by Stradivari for his instruments.

Buccelle is a member of the A.L.I. (Italian Violin Making Association). In 2009 he won the "Sabino Preti" prize for the best emerging luthier at the International "Antonio Stradivari" Competition in Cremona.
